Phone Number Prediction

    Before we begin, you'll need a working calculator.

    Next, you'll need to follow the instructions exactly!

    (Note: If you want our experiment to be a success, you'll have to help me out. I'm doing this from long distance.)

    Ready?

    • Turn on the calculator.

    • Type in the first three digits of your phone number, and press the multiply key.

    • Type in 80, and press the add key.

    • Type in 1, and press the multiply key.

    • Type in 250, and press the add key.

    • Type in the last four digits of your phone number, and press the add key.

    • Type in the last four digits of your phone number again, and press the subtract key.

    • Type in 250, and press the division key.

    • Get ready, now!

    •Type 2, and press the equal (=) key.

    And the total is:

    YOUR PHONE NUMBER!
