The Magic of Psychometry

    Psychometry is reading objects by touch.

    Basically, this refers to the ability to gain impressions and information about an object, or anything or anyone connected to it, by holding it in the hand or pressed against the forehead.

    Those who express belief in psychometry claim that a personal item, such as a favorite photograph or piece of jewelry, will store energy from its owner until released by the touch of a Psychometrist. This is interesting and exciting in theory, but does it work in fact? Let's test it out with a little magic!

    First: In order for this test to succeed, you'll have to help me out by following these directions carefully:

    Select a personal item for which you have an emotional attachment. Touch it lightly to your computer screen. Then place it on the table or desk in front of your keyboard.

    Next, choose four (4) NON-personal items, such as a pen, pair of scissors (or anything you may have handy) and place them in a row from left to right, making sure your PER-
SONAL ITEM is last. In other words, it is at the far right-
hand side.

    Now, when I say the word "Switch," exchange your PERSONAL ITEM with an item on either side of it, reversing the two item's positions. Of course, your first swap will have to be to move your personal item to the 4th position in the row, since it is on the end. So go ahead and "Switch" it now.

    From this point I will have no clue to which positions are being exchanged, because you can choose the item to the left OR to the right of your PERSONAL ITEM each time you do it.

    Let's continue.

    Let your eyes roam across the row of items and "Switch" with the item on either side of your PERSONAL ITEM.

    "Switch" again.

    "Switch" again.

    Finally, "Switch" one more time.

    Still with me? Here's where it gets interesting.

    Remove the object at the far left end of the row. I don't sense any energy in that direction.

    There are only four items remaining.

    Now, "Switch" one more time. And again remove the left end item from the row. Your personal energy is still not there.

    Once more, "Switch." Let your eyes move across the row of three items. Again, the left end item shows no energy. You can eliminate it.

    Focus on your PERSONAL ITEM so I can see it through your eyes. Ahhhh, yes! This time take away the item on the RIGHT.

Your PERSONAL ITEM remains!

    And that's The Magic of Psychometry!
