Donna writes an Eagles Fly rebuttal: Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I understand and respect your protecting the poster's identity. I would not want to compromise your integrity by violating his privacy and trust in you.
I forwarded this post [Posted Scam Reports - Page 1 - Editor] to my sponsor in Eagles Fly, who then spoke to Jennie Menn about it. They told me that this man had joined Eagles Fly, and demanded a refund 4 weeks later. That fits with the answer that the man put in quotes in his post about why CES could not offer a refund of his fees.
The only refund CES, then later, Eagles Fly, offered when I joined, is a double your money back refund, for both the advertising Co-op fee, and the monthly payments of the program that they are promoting when one joined, IF, at the end of 6 months, one is not making $2800 - $15,000 per month. They do not offer a trial period, which seems to be what this man wanted.
The purpose of the 6 month time frame is to keep a person in a business long enough for the business to begin to show a profit thru growth. That's necessary for any business. Quitting too soon is one of the most common problems for most people in network marketing jobs. That "get rich quick" mentality is self sabotaging
No one will know, Doc Jim, whether or not Eagles Fly will refund anyone's money until after Dec 2003, or thereabouts, because that is when most of us will have been in Eagles Fly for a full 6 months. Eagles Fly was only formed in June 2003. I don't see how "John," the objector whose post prompted me to write to you initially, could expect a refund before 6 months had passed. That was not what he agreed to when he joined. When did he join, and which company did he join?
I joined CES when the product being advertised was Juvio. Juvio changed their compensation plan from a flat rate-per-recruit to a percentage of all world wide sales. It would be hard to offer an income guarantee on a fluctuating figure. I don't see how one would calculate it, do you?
I transferred my Co-op payment from CES to Eagles Fly when that company was formed and incorporated, and joined MeggaOpp, which is the company that Eagles Fly chose to promote instead of Juvio. I kept my Juvio membership because I believe in and use the tech support.
The main reason I went with CES, and then Eagles Fly (they are 2 different companies) is that I don't know how to advertise online within my budget. Their doing the advertising for me was the safety net I needed.
I won't go into the reasons why Eagles Fly later changed the guarantee to the one that "John" referred to, because I feel like it is private company policy, not to be discussed outside of staff and members. BUT what that revised guarantee included was training in free online advertising, guidance, and complete support. And as to the $600 a month, that's pretty good money for only 5 hours of work a week, don't you think?
Under the newer guarantee, they teach us how to sell online all day long. Pretty cool benefit, I think, especially for a one time payment of $125 into the advertising co-op (plus of course, the Stormpay transfer fee of $10). I'm getting 6 months of personal instruction in advertising. Isn't that what all of us need to do business online, regardless of the company we choose? And Eagles Fly is still advertising for me while I learn myself.
I can find companies and products to sell online all day long. I am affiliated with Earthblock, Think Right Now, The Silent Sales Machine Operating on eBay, Health Thru Nutrition, ID IT Plates, Juvio, and Cajun Country Candies. But learning the best free/low cost advertising methods is a huge challenge.
I am now at the point, after 3 1/2 months, where I no longer pay out of pocket for my Megaopp membership. I have 2 people under me, so my monthly fee is covered. Three months of nothing, then 2 within 1 week. I was gratified, to say the least. Staying with Eagles Fly only cost me 2 months more time, but I'm looking at the payoff.
I did not feel like it would have been fair of me to demand a refund of CES during their restructuring period. Jennie Menn's whole plan was brought to a screeching halt by Juvio's changes. I don't hold people responsible for things beyond their control. I sure wouldn't want someone to do that to me. The Bible says that "He will have judgement without mercy, who shows no mercy."
You know, the only way we have to judge the people we meet online is by words, Doc. Words which are proven or disproven in time by the actions that follow. I am trusting that the folks I've met in Eagles Fly are people of integrity. Time will tell.
In the meantime, I'm learning to advertise. I don't have to. I'm still covered by the income guarantee, but I don't see why I have to wait for 6 months to go by before I take action myself. If my sponsor can get 30 personal signups into Meggaopp in 8 - 10 weeks, which he did, using free advertising, then what is stopping me from doing the same thing? All I needed was his methods, which I'm learning now. Sales, online or offline, is a numbers game.
The last 4 months have seen many changes with Eagles Fly. They continue improving the value of their program. The newest revision has been to eliminate the income guarantee for new members. The offer of a guarantee was always temporary. Anyone who asked for more information on the double money back offer was informed within the first paragraph of the first letter that the offer was for 7 days only, and that they should check back after the 7th day to see if it was still available. Although the income guarantee is gone, there are some exciting new developments just around the corner.
Thanks, Colleen [of Doc Jim's Help Page! - Editor], for being willing to listen to another side of this issue. I appreciate your openmindedness. I learned 18 years ago that there are often 2 sides to controversy, and I'm glad to be able to tell the other side of this one.

Efe writes a rebuttal for Nigeria being [labeled] the fraud capital of the world: Being Nigerian, it really hurts me to note that the actions of an extreme minority is being taken to be the norm by very many people. It is becoming a case of national profiling and is very wrong.
Editor pls note. (Editor's note: The wrong and danger is in the Nigerian scammers who are not, unfortunately, in the minority.)
