Although this is a work of clean, modern magic on my part, past life incarnation (commonly called reincarnation) is the ancient and universal belief that the soul survives physical death and is reborn into a new physical life. Believers traditionally accept the passing of the soul from one body to the next; contending our souls never really die; that we mearly change our physical form, forgetting who we once were.
This is not altogether a pointless conviction, since they hold that our souls are continually striving for perfection, evolving through many forms; that most of us have been human many times. They also believe that, with each lifetime, we learn and grow closer to a state of true enlightenment - of pure soul perfection. Leading toward a blissful status known as Nirvana. Which isn't a bad thing.
This reading is done with the help of an oracle friend of mine. I may not believe everything she accepts as tenet. However, I'll never challenge her ability to transfer a hostile situation to a peaceful solution. If she doesn't do it with magic, she's one heck of a psychologist.
